Results were produced in the time as advertised, and it seems like we don't have any issues in our water. I don't have any particular way to confirm these results from another source, but we don't have any health issues related to lead exposure so it seems like it works.

I'm not sure if it was just error, but I followed the instructions. Both tests came back with zero lines, never saw the white powder that was supposed to be in the enclosed tube. Won't be buying this again.

Got a positive result but I'm skeptical. Previous results (a while ago) were neagtive, and in theory, there shouldn't be any lead present. However, I won't be ignoring this and so the bottom line is, I'm now doing a much more thorough, and expensive, test to see if this is a legit result. I will update the review accordingly. Be prepared that this is a quick and cheap test that you will have to confirm another way if you get a positive result.
I got this because I live in an old house. I wanted to find out if my water has lead in it. I ran the test according to the directions and then read the results. It's fairly straightforward and easy to do and the good news is that according to the test my water is OK. I'm not going to say it's as accurate as a real "send it off to the lab" test, but it should give you a general idea of the lead content in your water.
I accidentally messed up the first test because I tried to do it with a little one around and didn't see the second step of mixing it with the little vile. The second one I am not 100 percent sure but I think it's positive for lead and that would actually make a lot of sense because of some behavioral problems my kids have been having. The test are cheap and effective. You simply can't rely on the water company to be on top of things like this. I have city water! I do wish that the test was two…
I’m not really sure what to think about this test. I was able to read and understand the directions, however it did show lead in my water. I’ve since done other tests on my water and none of them show any lead.
