I work on watches as a hobby and sometimes there's a small smudge on a dial or hand or crystal and these are perfect for cleaning that up without risk of damaging the surface. I had one a long time ago and had a tough time finding another with the same type of soft tip so excited to find these in a 10-pack.
Ok - so I picked these up on the Vine, and honestly had low expectations. Normally I will soak a cotton swab in alcohol and clean various things. (print heads, electronics, etc) This works well but can leave fuzzies if you aren't careful.These little swabs work sooooo much better. They don't fall apart, and they feel more like an eraser than a swab. Working great to clear print heads so far, will definitely order more.
I'm trying to rehab a Roland SP-300vs that hasn't printed in 5 years and is full of dried ink. These swabs would be good for cleaning the caps and head slots (these examples are goners) without leaving any lint behind. The tip seems to be made from a diagonally cut piece of foam tubing. The outside diameter has a bit of a skin and the inner diameter is held onto the plastic stick with an arrowhead shape.
