The way the description was written these REMOVE static. Couldn’t be further from the truth but I’m not sure that they were designed to do that. They didn’t “add” static but definitely didn’t remove it

While we generally don't have a heavy use for these, occasionally they come in handy. My partner fiddles around with various electronic projects as well as repairing circuit boards. This is when these clothes come in handy. He'll scrape away the burnt connections and re-solder the connections. These wipes are good for using on the boards to get dirt and debris off them while working on them and not having to worry about them causing a static discharge that could potentially damage resistors on …the boards. These wipes work as intended.

Every few months I have to frame a number of certificates and the frames are covered in small bits of dust and debris from the manufacturing process and packaging material, which clings to the acrylic “glass” fronts. It is typically a frustrating and tedious process, often redoing the same certificate multiple times before getting it perfect. These cloths helped SO much that I only had to redo two this time, and only once apiece. That is a MAJOR inorovment and saved me several hours of frust…rating work. At only 36¢ per cloth the whole package paid for itself in the time it saved me just this time around.

Wipes like these are the absolute best for cleaning off any touch screen you have on a phone, tablet, watch, etc, or screens on things like your TV or laptop. They don't leave behind any lint and they remove all traces of smudges left behind by the natural oils in skin. These wipes work okay on their own when dry, but when used in combination with an appropriate screen cleaning spray, the end result is a crystal clear AND clean screen again. The large size makes them useable for several cleanin…gs, or you can cut them into smaller squares, tuck into a plastic baggie, and use when needed. This helps you get a better value, too. I cut into smaller squares and keep a resealable plastic baggie of them in my car and a snack-size baggie of them in my purse. These wipes work well on eyeglasses as well, and their gentle touch helps preserve any special coatings on the lenses (like anti-bluelight) and not leave scratches. A pack of these wipes is pricey, but they DO help keep screens, touchscreens, glasses, or any other delicate surface clean without damaging them like another material can, say paper towels. Those can leave behind micro scratches you may not see at first but can build up over time. Harsher materials can also wear away those special coatings on eye glasses, and yeesh... some of those are expensive. At least with these wipes you can cut them into smaller 3"x3" squares (you get nine per wipe) and reuse them several times before needing to dispose of. I figure that saving the integrity of various glass surfaces so I don't need to pay for repair or replacement is worth the cost.

This pack of Anti-Static Cleanroom Wipe Cloths are cut in smaller sized squares. I was hoping to get some larger sized sections, but you do get a lot if you need to have a lot of clean surface area to wipe down electronics. These are very thin, so don't expect them to soak up a lot of liquid.

I used these recently to clean dust from my PS4 Pro. They worked fantastically, didn't leave any fibers behind like paper towels do, and kept from spreading the find dust around the system.These are great for eyeglasses too, they really get off the grease that accumulates on your lenses and again, leaves it dust and lint free. Definitely a great thing to keep around the house.

These cloths work well for my use case, cleaning the inside of my PC. Where my PC is currently located, it unfortunately sucks in more dust and debris than I use to. I have filters on my fans, but they only help so much.I like to wipe down the inside of my PC weekly to keep dust levels down. I have used other products in the past, but nothing worked all that well, dusters would get stuck on the exposed circuitry on my graphics card and mother board. I'm sure its overkill to use this class of pr…oduct on a computer, but I like having the piece of mind that these wipes won't build up an electrical charge while using them.The cloths themselves are a good material that doesn't leave any lint or particulate behind. They hold up well to gently wiping off PCB's with populated components without tearing apart.Overall these work well for me and my needs.
